In October of 2020 Dorryce and Caroline bought the 30+ year old bookstore from the Kerby Family, the original owners. Thanks in part to the community, estimated 175,000 half priced books and 7200 square feet of space, the store has become one of the best used bookstores in the Mid-Atlantic.
Dorryce and Caroline have always had a passion for books and are excited to share their passion with others. It is their pleasure to continue the traditions of the Midlothian Book Exchange and be part of this amazing community. Our mission is to make used books, encompassing a wide range of categories, available to readers of all ages. Our books come at affordable prices, in a comfortable and welcoming setting.
